QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality Assurance is a process that begins as early as the raw materials stage. Steel strips are assessed for strength and consistency. At every subsequent station along the assembly line, Prakash Surya engineers employ sophisticated equipment and techniques to ensure not only the pipes' faultless quality, but also their optimal performance under the most adverse conditions. For instance, stage inspection procedures evaluate each pipe for surface finish, perfection of weld, and correct diameter, wall-thickness, length and weight. A fully equipped metallurgical laboratory tests materials for their ability to withstand reactive processes. Hydro-testing of all pipes is undertaken to detect leaks and fissures - prior to galvanising and threading. Destructive testing of pipes entails examination of the weld as well as their compressive strength.

The inbuilt concept of quality control in Prakash Surya Steel Tubes guarantee a long, trouble-free service life - without breakdown, without corrosion.
